Association „School Biology Centre – NaturErlebnisPark“

The “School Biology Centre – NaturErlebnisPark” was established in 1996. It is a registered association and is supported by regional subdivisions. Our main activities include the support of science education in schools, the basic and advanced training for teachers and unemployed people as well the development and applied research in the field of pedagogy, didactics and science. We also have cooperations with many institutions working in similar fields and methods such as pedagogical universities, universities and other research institutions.

The “School Biology Centre – NaturErlebnisPark” has a building with lecture rooms and an adjacent public park, with an area of about 5 ha and was designed for our educational activities. Part of this park is the “Lake Rielteich”. This wetland is the only legally protected area for nature conservation in the city of Graz. There are also two little rivers in the park.
